Manpower are currently looking for a Bodyshop operative for one of our clients in Thorne.
This role will require you to work Monday - Friday 6AM until finish.
Responsible for: Bodyshop duties
Duties:
1. To ensure that all health and safety rules and legislation are adhered to and all health and safety concerns are escalated to management immediately
2. To ensure all repairs are documented to meet with customer repair standards, company policy and quality standards
3. To prep vehicles, panels and wheels ready for paint
4. To mask vehicles off ahead of paint
5. To polish vehicles post paint to current repair standards
6. Carry out smart repairs as required
7. To carry out basic de-trim and re- trim tasks following work instructions
8. To apply decals to vehicles as required
9. Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with warranty policy and procedures.
10. To ensure all repairs are carried out efficiently and with minimum cost of time and materials, to meet current repair standards.
11. To embrace and learn new methods and techniques as required and put into practice
12. To be flexible on a day to day basis of actual duties required for the day
13. Other tasks as directed by the management team
14. Comply with appropriate working time legislation
15. To maintain a clean and tidy working environment
16. To undergo any training required
17. To correctly clock all jobs on the workshop system in place at the time
18. Any other tasks as reasonably directed by the management team to provide the required service to the customer within your capabilities
Responsibilities:
19. To ensure the quality of service described and laid down in the various working procedures are adhered to and improved upon where possible
20. To be aware of the Company's responsibilities in relation to Health & Safety and its accreditation to ISO
21. Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to, all environmental issues and aspects within the ISO14001 standard. These requirements may not only be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business
The pay rate for this role is £13.50 per hour.
