We’re looking for someone with energy and enthusiasm with strong writing, editing and digital skills and with demonstrable experience who is always ready to try something new.
You’ll work as part of our small dedicated editorial team within a wider communications department which includes in‑house designers and campaigners. You’ll be a content specialist who’s able to work at all levels of the union to develop strong, eye‑catching and user‑friendly content both in print and online – sometimes from unpromising beginnings!
Responsibilities
* Develop strong, eye‑catching, user‑friendly content for print and online, often starting from unpromising materials.
* Interview a wide range of people and translate their stories into engaging, attention‑grabbing copy.
* Transform organisational information and reports into engaging data‑led content.
* Apply knowledge of effective storytelling to create impactful content and promote a positive public image.
Qualifications
* Strong writing, editing and digital skills.
* Demonstrable experience in content creation and storytelling.
* Enthusiasm, energy and willingness to try new approaches.
