HGV Skills Development Tutor
* Trafford Park (Hybrid – 1 day from home)
* Permanent | Full-time
* Up to £38,000 per annum
About the Role
Reed Further Education are partnering with a leading training provider to recruit a HGV Skills Development Tutor.
* Deliver engaging training programmes to support learner achievement
* Develop learners’ knowledge, skills, and behaviours
* Support progression and successful course completion
* Hybrid role based in Trafford Park Skills Centre
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver open days, taster sessions, and IAG to attract learners
* Manage learner and employer caseloads to ensure retention
* Plan and deliver high-quality face-to-face and blended learning
* Assess progress, track KPIs, and provide constructive feedback
About You
* Industry experience within HGV or related vocational sector
* Teaching qualification (or working towards)
* Strong focus on learner support and motivation
* Confident using digital systems and e-learning platforms
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ industry experience
* 1–2 years teaching, training, or assessment experience
* Knowledge of OFSTED or quality standards
* Strong communication, organisation, and coaching skills
