Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to launch a career in procurement within the electronics industry. In this Procurement Support role you’ll receive structured on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to real-world procurement challenges. You’ll work closely with experienced team members to support purchasing operations and supplier coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Gain hands-on experience in sourcing goods and services, and managing purchase orders
* Shadow colleagues to learn about supplier management, data analysis, negotiation techniques, and commercial terms
* Assist in preparing purchase orders and monitoring delivery schedules
* Help maintain accurate records of suppliers, products, and pricing
* Enter procurement data into ERP systems and spreadsheets
* Support the generation of reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance
* Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and regulatory standards
* Assist in resolving basic issues related to deliveries or product quality
* Explore opportunities to apply AI tools to enhance procurement processes
Qualifications & Skills
* Genuine interest in procurement and the electronics sector
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Proficient with spreadsheets and open to learning new systems
* Detail-oriented with a growth mindset
