Offer description

A leading Consultancy is seeking an Operations Manager to join their dynamic team on a 12 month FTC to work closely with senior leadership. The Operations Manager will be hands-on at an operational level, enabling senior leaders to focus on the highest value opportunities.


Key Responsibilities will include:

Operational Planning and Execution

* Support senior leadership in tracking and executing strategic priorities
* Translate strategic goals into clear, actionable plans across business units
* Coordinate preparation and follow-up for key meetings and initiatives

Business Operations Support

* Provide operational support on day-to-day business decisions
* Identify operational challenges and propose practical solutions to improve efficiency
* Assist with resource planning and team coordination, collaborating with HR where resource challenges exist
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and deliver implementation plans

Performance Management & Reporting

* Collaborate with finance and other departments to prepare regular performance reports
* Identify and monitor operational metrics and business performance indicators
* Track project progress against timelines, budgets, and key milestones
* Maintain operational standards and best practices

Project Coordination

* Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives
* Support change management activities for business improvements
* Follow up on action items and deliverables to ensure accountability
* Assist with implementation of operational changes

Communication & Coordination

* Facilitate communication between teams and business units
* Prepare presentations, reports, and business updates as needed
* Build effective working relationships across departments to support collaboration


Skills and Experience

* Experience in operations management, practice management, project management, or business operations roles
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Good business understanding with ability to support strategy execution
* Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
