You will be providing effective administrative support to a variety of grant and loan programmes.\n\nYou will need to follow defined processes to ensure accurate information and reports are provided to internal and external stakeholders.\n\nYou will complete various administrative tasks in order to support customers taking advantage of government schemes. \n\nThe team\n\nThe services delivery team manage and administer loans and grants for energy saving and low or zero carbon improvements to homes and businesses on behalf of governments, local authorities, and businesses.\n\nOur work is customer service focused and seeing the impact we have on the lives of people we support is what brings us to work each day. What you will do\n\nCheck the information provided in grant & loan applications and claims against set criteria, including following up on further information with applicants, installers, and other internal teams as necessary.\n\nContact customers as required via email/letter/telephone to resolve any issues.\n\nMaintain good administrative systems to ensure that all filing and key documents are kept in accordance with Energy Saving Trust quality procedures.\n\nMaintenance and updating of the relevant databases and spreadsheets.\n\nProcessing postal applications and other customer information sent to our Edinburgh office. What you will bring\n\nEssential:\n\nGood IT skills (Microsoft Office suite, Internet, use of databases).\n\nDemonstrated ability of working in a team support role.\n\nExcellent organisational skills. Ability to prioritise tasks within a demanding environment.\n\nA proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.\n\nStrong interpersonal skills and written skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail, alongside excellent numeric skills.\n\nAbility to work to deadlines across a range of tasks.\n\nSelf-motivation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.\n\nAn interest in sustainability and renewable energy.\n\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\n\nDesirable:\n\nKnowledge and understanding of energy efficiency and renewable energy.
