Early Years Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted "Good" Primary school in Basildon.
The school is a popular three-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive Early Years leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.
The position is only open for Level 3 CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* ASAP start
* Duration: until the end of the academic year July 2025 (could extend to permanent, depending on performance)
* Contract type: Contracted to Permanent
* Full time (Monday to Friday)
* Minimum rate 92 per day
* Hours - 8:15am - 3:45pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Holds CACHE or NVQ Level 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
* Minimum 1 year experience in the UK
* Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
