We’relooking for a Patient Access Manager to join our Patient Access team based at The Portland Hospital. This is your opportunity to become a vital part of the UK’s largest private healthcare provider by joining our Patient Access department. You will play a vital role in deliveringa high-quality service to our patients.

As a Patient Access Manager, your roleis to lead the management and progressive development of high quality and customer responsive services, tomaximiserevenue capture and contribute to achieving the Hospital’s Business Plan. This includes activecontributionto Revenue Cycle and to the overall management of the Hospital and its business.

Whatyou’lldo:

1. Facilitate the patient access experience by providing a world class service to our patients through a seamless patient journey and a high level of customer care at all times.

2. Overall management & responsibility for Facility Revenue Cycle ensuring maximum revenue capture.

3. Recruit, appraise and develop the Patient Access Leaders within each team

4. Develop and implement, with the GPAM and Facility Senior Management Team (SMT), the Patient Access Facility strategy in line with the direction of HCA Healthcare UK business plan

5. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory proceduresin accordance withregistering authorities,policiesand guidelines, including internal and external financial audit requirements

6. Continually maintain knowledge and adherence of all Hospital procedures and policies which are related to Patient Access and effectively communicate changes to the teams.

7. Build,maintainand develop effective andappropriate workingrelationships with all service users

8. Monitor, control and manage expenditure andto participatein the preparation of thedepartmentannual budget.

Whatyou'llbring:

9. Management experience, ideally inhealthcaresetting.

10. Experience in an administration role in a healthcare setting.

11. Excellent communication and customer service skills

12. Strong IT skills - Excel, Word, Microsoft office

13. Problem solving ability including patient and consultant complaints.
