Commercial Manager - Asda
Hybrid (3 days a week in the office) – Leeds

We have an excellent opportunity to join Birds Eye as a Commercial Manager, accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan within the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessies and Goodfella's brands.
Utilising category and consumer insight to influence the customer and delight the shopper at points of purchase to achieve key business targets
About the role…
The individual will be accountable for a broad portfolio of branded products, as well as leading the eCom and Convenience strategies within the Asda account. You will support the execution of the total customer business plan in order to hit and exceed annual targets, leading this for your responsible categories. The right candidate will have solid trading experience, an ambition to learn and progress and excellent organisational skills.
Accountable for the planning and delivery of a profitable growth plan for Asda within the Birds Eye, Aunt Bessie's & Goodfella's portfolios as well as ownership and co-ordination of the Formats strategies (eCom/ Convenience). This is a key role within the wider BU North sales team.
Utilising category and consumer insight to achieve key business targets.
Responsibilities:
Generate consumer specific business through developing JBPs, using category/shopper Build partnerships with Asda stakeholders to develop, manage & execute Joint Business Plans managing to achieve both your own and the customer's Sales, Profit & Share targets. You will have full account P&L ownership for set categories
P&L management circa £3-4m
Monitoring portfolio effectiveness via company tool kit.
Manage customer product mix and align with strategic brand and category guidelines.
Selling and negotiating of new listings.
Delivering profitable growth for the account.
About you…
We need a driven and experienced commercial professional that wants the next step in their career by supporting a top 4 retailer.
FMCG Sales / Account Management experience highly desirable.
Experience within eCommerce and/or channel functions desirable.
Must have experience of P&L.
Strong stakeholder management skills and proactive in communication.
Understanding of teamwork and promoting high performing behaviours.
