As a Pharmacy Assistant at HMP Bullingdon, you will be responsible for completing general dispensary duties and stock management. Working as an active member of the Pharmaceutical team, you will ensure the delivery of pharmaceutical services, providing a timely and efficient service to the prison wings.
Responsibilities
* Receiving prescriptions and stock returns from wing-based clinical areas.
* Collecting orders from suppliers at the Main Gate and arranging the collection of returns.
* Actively participating in dispensing prescriptions.
About the setting
Bullingdon is a male category B remand prison based near Bicester. With construction underway to increase its size, it will soon be one of the largest remand prisons. The ages of the men served range from 18 to 90, reflecting a diverse population with various healthcare needs. To meet this diversity, we implement an integrated model of care with a variety of roles suitable for different skills and interests.
