Astrum Search are supporting a leading infrastructure services group who are looking for an Internal Auditor to join its growing assurance team. You’ll join a supportive Group Assurance team, working across a wide variety of financial and operational audits, with the chance to influence real change in a dynamic and evolving environment.
What you'll be doing:
1. Delivering a range of financial and operational audits from planning to completion
2. Evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
3. Producing high-quality reports and work papers for senior stakeholders
4. Supporting wider assurance projects, including fraud investigations and process improvement initiatives
5. Tracking audit actions and following up on implementation
6. Contributing to the ongoing development of audit strategy and methodology
What you’ll bring:
7. Solid knowledge of auditing standards, risk assessment, and controls testing
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
9. Experience managing or supporting audits in a complex, fast-paced organisation
10. Analytical mindset and confident using data to support findings
11. A proactive, ethical, and professional approach with a collaborative attitude
12. Project management and time prioritisation skills
