Working hours: 20 hours per week (Flexible approach – Mon to Fri work pattern) Interview Date: To be Confirmed JOIN OUR TEAM The Salvation Army, Haverhill Corps is looking for someone who combines the skills of management with a heart for Christian mission as well as leadership. The post holder will be an active and visible leader within both The Link and the wider community. You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including programme participants, the local council, and other relevant charities and religious groups to better meet the needs of the community. You will work to meet the needs of the local community and support the work of The Salvation Army in Haverhill. Key Responsibilities: The post-holder will play a significant role in successfully delivering the mission to the local community within a large and complex setting. You will be responsible for delivering the mission programme's operational elements and managing the Corps' business resources, including finances, people, and procedural and statutory compliance. You will provide updates to the Link Advisory board regarding the mission programmes and business resources to ensure that progress towards the achievement of agreed objectives is regularly reviewed. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: Proven interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a similar environment and in managing staff and/or volunteers. Ability to work on their own initiative and in a team, enjoy working with people, and be able to deal tactfully with staff, volunteers, and the public.
