Freight Operator - Haulage - Logistics - Burton
Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a Haulage / Logistics company based in the Burton-upon-Trent area of Staffordshire to recruit a Freight Operator for their International division.
In this role as Freight Operator, you will be:
* Ensuring that the fleet of walking floor trailers maintain profitability.
* Receiving customers’ orders and inputting them into the system.
* Matching the orders to a transport solution.
* Communicating the schedule and any special circumstances such as PPE or security procedures.
* Where applicable working with the customs department.
* Flagging any non-conformance issues.
* Other duties as required.
To be suitable for this Freight Operator’s role you should have previous operator’s experience within the freight sector and be an excellent communicator.
