Overview

Job title: Land-Based Engineer Course Manager

Location: York

Contract type: Full-Time – 37 hrs, Permanent

Salary: SP26 £31,758 – SP33 £34,699 per annum

About the role:

We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for delivering high quality training for apprentices on programme, to ensure a positive experience and timely achievement of the apprenticeship.


Responsibilities

* Deliver high quality teaching to an agreed annual caseload.
* Monitor, review and assess an appropriate caseload of apprentices on programme throughout the United Kingdom.
* Engage employers and assist applicants in finding suitable employment.
* Undertake contract set-up visits to employers prior to the enrolment of apprentices.
* Undertake health and safety reviews of employers premises and all related monitoring.
* Plan and deliver induction programmes for all apprentices.


Qualifications

Candidates should be educated to Level 3 or above in a relevant subject with prior experience in Land-based Engineering sectors and grade 4’s in Maths and English. The applicant may also have experience of apprenticeship pathways and relevant industry tickets.

Start Date

The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
