Position: SEND Teaching Assistant – Full-time / Long-term
About the Role:
* Support pupils with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
* Assist with learning activities, emotional regulation, and behaviour support
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support plans
* Adapt resources and approaches to meet each child's needs
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where all pupils can thrive
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
* A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
* Flexibility and a proactive attitude to meet the varying needs of pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
