They're now hiring two hands-on Tech Leads to shape the next phase of their platform and lead small, agile teams building critical energy infrastructure software. The Opportunity As a Tech Lead, you'll take ownership of a core domain and help steer both technical design and delivery. You'll be supported to grow into people leadership (if you choose), while remaining deeply hands-on. Whether your background is in hardware integration or high-performance trading systems, there's a space here to lead impactful work from the ground up. Application Interface Lead Work on systems that interface directly with hardware - including batteries, EVs and IoT devices - as well as cloud APIs. You'll architect and refine resilient pipelines that sit between physical energy assets and cloud-based platforms. Market Operations Lead Join a greenfield project helping expand energy trading capabilities into new international markets. You'll work closely with data science and strategy teams to build software that supports real-time market decisions and optimises performance. What You'll Bring Strong engineering background Solid software design principles and iterative development experience TDD and automated testing expertise beneficial Hands-on experience with CI/CD, trunk-based development, and feature flagging An eye for quality, performance, and scalability A passion for the craft - you take pride in clean code and continual improvement Previous experience leading teams or mentoring engineers (Bonus) Experience in the energy/utilities sector or hardware integration Why Join?
