Key Responsibilities include: Manage monthly and year‑end close, delivering accurate management accounts and consolidated group statements. Lead statutory accounts preparation and coordinate external audits. Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and risk management across the group. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision‑making. Provide clear, actionable financial insights to senior leadership and divisional directors. Champion best‑practice processes and unlock the full potential of Sage Intacct. Identify and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting quality. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and key KPIs to ensure financial resilience. Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering accountability and high performance. Build strong partnerships with divisional directors, advising on financial implications of growth plans, investments, and strategic initiatives. Promote a collaborative, problem‑solving culture within the finance function.
