The Role

Account Director/Senior Account Director – responsible for driving revenue growth by selling Dynata’s market research solutions to new and existing clients. The role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in market research, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to cultivate and maintain high‑level client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong and enduring partnerships.
* Develop and execute account strategies to align with client goals and business objectives.
* Anticipate client needs and proactively offer tailored solutions that leverage Dynata’s product offerings.
* Drive growth and profitability across a portfolio of accounts by identifying and pursuing upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
* Collaborate with internal teams to create proposals, negotiate contracts, and close high‑value deals.
* Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
* Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver best‑in‑class data and insight solutions.
* Mentor junior account managers and support their professional development.
* Act as a thought leader within the organization, contributing to strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing.
* Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by overseeing project delivery, addressing escalations, and continuously improving processes.
* Partner with clients to understand their challenges and business goals, translating these into actionable research initiatives.
* Leverage Dynata’s advanced tools and platforms to provide insights‑driven recommendations.


Essential Skills

* Exceptional client relationship management skills with a consultative, solutions‑oriented approach.
* 5+ years of experience in sales or account management within market research or data solutions (mandatory).
* Expertise in B2B and B2C insights, data analytics, or technology‑enabled solutions.
* Creative thinker in the digital space with willingness to stay attuned to the latest industry trends.
* High level of commercial awareness – identifying opportunities, tailoring solutions, and negotiating and closing sales.
* Proven ability to deliver consistent results against financial targets.
* Strong communication, presentation, and time‑management skills.
* Proficiency in CRM tools (MS Dynamics preferred) and familiarity with data platforms.
* High personal drive and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
* Organised yet flexible, capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.


Desirable Skills

* Evidence of comprehending and communicating complex solutions.
* Understanding of market research, consumer privacy issues and emerging trends.
* Combined sales ability with analytical excellence and superior written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to build strong client relationships and advocate client interests.
