Are you passionate about compliance, safety, and operational excellence? We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Compliance Supervisor to lead our compliance team and ensure our diverse estate remains safe, legally compliant, and operationally efficient.
In This Pivotal Role, You Will
Lead and manage a team of 8 Compliance Operatives, overseeing statutory and internal compliance inspections across academic, administrative, and residential buildings.
Coordinate planned and reactive compliance activities, ensuring all inspections and remedial actions are completed to the highest standards.
Manage compliance schedules for fire safety, Legionella, emergency lighting, and more, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
Act as the main point of contact for compliance-related queries, building strong relationships with Estates, Health and Safety, and other stakeholders.
Analyse compliance data, produce reports, and drive continuous improvement in compliance processes.
Mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
About You
You will have:
Experience supervising facilities or compliance teams, ideally within a large or complex estate.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
Proficiency in compliance systems, reporting tools, and data analysis.
A sound understanding of statutory compliance requirements (e.g., fire safety, water hygiene).
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience (IOSH/NEBOSH certification desirable).
The ability to travel between multiple sites and occasionally work outside normal office hours.
