M&E Contracts Manager
The role will be managing all aspects of the companies residential projects within the Home Counties. They have projects in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire so any candidate would need to live within travelling distance to these counties to be able to cover his/her own projects (circa 6-8) within that area.
The projects they cover are mainly Plumbing and Heating but they also have Electrical Contracts so the role is suitable to an experienced manager or supervisor from either trade or even someone who has experience as a New Build site manager for a national or regional developer. With London being quieter it may attract someone looking to reduce their commute and work more locally as well as have more flexibility and be left to get on with the job if that is how you prefer to work. Quite a few of their managers have done this and it is working out really well.
Apart from industry experience the candidate must have the following:
* Positive communication skills both with our clients and our installers
* Be organised
* Be able to read project progress and forecast his current and future resource needs
* Be a team player
* Be able to Quality Inspect 1st fix,2nd fix and final installations
* Reasonable IT skills
