As part of the Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS), the Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the core of American Express, uniquely positioned to service every business unit and customer across the Enterprise. Each year, we power billions of transactions through our global payments network, serving our Issuing and Acquiring businesses in more than 170 markets worldwide.
How will you make an impact in this role?
Partner and Product Enablement (PPE) is part of NAS. The team is primarily responsible for onboarding customers onto American Express systems, establishing connectivity between customers and the American Express network and certifying them to our standards. Our main customers are merchants, processors, network issuers and acquirers. The mission of PPE is to ensure our business partners can successfully transact with the American Express network according to American Express specifications, policy, and regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for leading certification efforts to ensure customers can successfully connect to and complete specification compliant transactions on the American Express Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing and new to American Express partners, which requires excellent communication skills and professionalism. Owning and facilitating solutions as well as consultancy on certification challenges. Accountable for managing internal teams to support our customer needs. Managing initiatives (new products, capabilities and regulatory requirements) which impact the certification processes.
