Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
* Work closely with class teachers to support teaching and learning activities.
* Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups.
* Help to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Support pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND or EAL.
* Assist with preparing resources and classroom displays.
* Contribute to pupil progress by helping track achievement and behaviour.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
* Have experience working with primary-aged children (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).
* Be caring, patient and flexible in their approach.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
* Work well as part of a team and independently.
* Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) or have suitable experience.
