Mixed OMB Tax Advisor | £50,000 - £70,000 (DOE) | Bedfordshire | Hybrid Working
A growing independent firm is looking to appoint a Mixed OMB Tax Advisor to join their expanding team. The business works with a wide range of entrepreneurial clients - from fast-growing owner-managed businesses to high-net-worth individuals - providing hands on, commercially focused tax advice across both corporate and personal tax.
This is a genuinely flexible opportunity that can be shaped around your strengths. If your background is weighted more towards corporate tax or private client, they’re happy to tailor the workload accordingly.
The role:
You’ll work closely with senior members of the tax team to deliver a mix of advisory and compliance projects across multiple areas of tax. Typical work includes:
* Advising OMBs and business owners on restructuring, remuneration, EMI and share schemes.
* Preparing advisory reports and technical memos across a range of corporate and personal tax issues.
* Providing support on EIS/SEIS matters, capital gains, inheritance tax, and succession planning.
* Responding to client queries and assisting with ad-hoc advisory work.
* Supporting and reviewing work from junior team members where appropriate.
About you:
* ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or qualified by experience).
* Solid experience in mixed tax, corporate tax, or private client tax.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical matters clearly.
* Comfortable working directly with clients and managing multiple projects at once.
* Keen to progress within a collaborative and growing practice.
