Job Title: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Pay: £100 - £115 per day
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Milk Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a nurturing primary school in the Bury area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN) and wants to make a genuine difference in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher to adapt lesson content and activities to meet individual learning needs.
Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop their social and emotional skills.
Assist with the implementation of personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies.
Liaise with the SENCO, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support for each child.
What We’re Looking For:
A caring and patient individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a primary school or SEN setting is desirable but not essential.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A proactive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of pupils.
