Academics is currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient SEN Teacher to work in a resource base supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a school located in Barry. This role is due to start in September and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in pupils’ educational journeys.
The successful candidate will deliver tailored teaching programmes and support pupils with a range of complex needs.
From £172.98 per day (inclusive of holiday pay)
Rate dependent upon experience and client rate available.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience working with children or young people with ASD, ALN, and challenging behaviour
*
Strong knowledge of positive behaviour support strategies
*
High levels of empathy, patience, and emotional resilience
*
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced classroom environment
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

EWC registration (or willingness to register)
