Job Title: Group Hotel Financial Controller
Location: Birmingham (with monthly travel to hotels across the UK)
Salary: Circa £60,000 + Benefits

Were on the hunt for a commercially sharp, hands-on Cluster Financial Controller to take charge of the full finance function across a group of well-established hotels. Reporting directly to ownership, this is a pivotal role for someone who lives and breathes hotel finance and knows how to turn numbers into strategic action.
Youll be the financial heartbeat of our cluster, partnering with the Group GM to deliver robust reporting, smart analysis, and flawless control all while keeping payroll and compliance watertight.
What Youll Own:
* Full P&L ownership for each hotel in the portfolio
* End-to-end payroll for all hotel employees
* Month-end and year-end accounting no detail missed
* Annual audit preparation and coordination
* Keeping financial controls sharp, processes clean, and compliance tight
What Youll Bring:
* Strong experience in hotel self-accounting (single or multi-property)
* A track record of delivering month-end reports and audits with precision
* Confidence working with hotel systems like Opera, Fourth Payroll, Sage Line 50, and Sales & Catering tools
* Mystery of Excel and a love for turning data into decisions
* A proactive, commercially-minded attitude youre more than just the numbers
* Willingness to travel monthly to visit hotel sites
