As a Design and Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons that encourage pupils to design, create, and evaluate products using a range of materials and techniques. Key Duties of DT Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across key stages. Teach areas such as product design, resistant materials, and basic engineering principles. Support pupils in developing creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities. Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and workshop environments. Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and practical workshop skills. Ability to manage a safe and structured learning environment. Enthusiastic and engaging teaching style.
