This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Junior Project Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business delivering innovative solar PV projects. You will gain hands‑on exposure across live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and build valuable technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment focused on development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of renewable energy and electrical projects from enquiry to completion.
* Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical proposals.
* Coordinate site surveys, installations, deliveries, and access equipment.
* Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and installers.
* Maintain project trackers, CRM systems, and compliance records.
* Assist with procurement, material ordering, and delivery tracking.
* Prepare commissioning documents, O&M manuals, and handover packs.
* Support DNO/ENA applications and project compliance activities.
* Attend site visits to develop technical knowledge of renewable systems.
* Assist with invoicing, project costing, and tracking additional works.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks across live projects.
* Professional and customer-focused approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Interest in renewable energy and low‑carbon technologies.
* Engineering, construction, renewables, or electrical background desirable.
* Familiarity with CAD or project management software advantageous.
* Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
