SEN Teaching Assistant Vacancy Location: Bolton Role : SEN support Contract: Temp to perm Pay : From £13.75 Date: September Working hours: Monday –Friday, term time only, 8.30 to 3.45 Teaching Personnel are supporting a school in Bolton who are needing Teaching Assistants to work across school, supporting vulnerable/disengaged students and students with Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties. The role will be working alongside other Teaching Assistants within the classroom under the direction of the teacher. The role is to start in September 2025 and for the right person could lead to a permanent job after 12 weeks. Requirements -Must have experience working in a UK Primary School - Must have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs -Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualifications is desired - A current, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) - Effective behaviour management abilities with a calm and patient demeanour. - Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Offer support for children with SEN and behavioural challenges. Apply personalised learning and behaviour management strategies. Work alongside the class teacher to foster an inclusive classroom environment. Help the child build social and emotional development skills.
