You will be responsible for removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components of damaged vehicles. Additionally, you will perform 4-wheel alignment checks and adjustments to ensure a perfect finish and customer satisfaction. Typical duties within this MET Technician role include:
13. Stripping and refitting vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
14. Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs to industry standards
15. Performing 4-wheel alignments and adjustments
16. Recording parts used and identifying additional requirements
17. Maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organisation in your workspace
18. Complying with health and safety regulations and safety protocols
Ideal Requirements for this MET Technician position will have:
19. Proven experience as a MET Technician or similar role, preferably within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
20. A strong work ethic and commitment to quality
21. A full UK manual driving licence
22. Relevant technical or manufacturer qualifications preferred but not essential
