Job Title: Technical Coordinator
An award-winning, family-run residential developer is currently seeking a Technical Coordinator to join their growing project team on one of the largest regeneration schemes in the Midlands. This role involves managing multiple residential blocks within a multi-phased, mixed-use development, offering job security and the opportunity to oversee a project from early stages through to completion.
Requirements
1. Ability to prioritize, motivate, and communicate effectively to influence others and meet objectives.
2. Strong leadership skills, including decisiveness, flexibility, good time management, organization, and the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
3. Experience in maintaining technical schedules and reviewing drawings for buildability and technical issues.
4. Proficiency in project and process management, problem-solving, and decision-making.
5. Experience in design delivery, risk assessment, and technical design coordination.
6. Excellent communication skills at all management levels and with project teams, both internal and external.
7. Ability to coach and train junior team members in technical processes and procedures.
8. Passion for customer satisfaction, house building, and construction, with a focus on high standards and excellence.
9. Knowledge of regeneration projects in mixed-tenure developments.
10. Ability to coordinate technical and design processes, monitor progress, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery.
11. Experience reviewing consultant and subcontractor design drawings, ensuring compliance with company standards, and promoting cost-effective, high-quality design solutions.
