Our client, a leading contractor within the social housing sector, is currently seeking a Repairs Administrator to join their team on a busy housing maintenance contract.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the repairs and maintenance team, ensuring residents receive an excellent service and all works are scheduled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logging repairs and maintenance requests
2. Scheduling operatives and managing diaries
3. Liaising with residents, operatives, and subcontractors
4. Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
5. Managing work orders from start to completion
6. Providing general administrative support to the wider team
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in repairs administration or social housing is highly desirable
8. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads effectively
10. IT literate with experience using scheduling or housing management systems (desirable)
