Electronics Technician Test & Repair required for electro-mechanical product manufacturing company based in Folkestone, Kent.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be competent at soldering and general electronics fault finding, and ideally have experience in a similar role.
Testing & calibration of components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies which form a crucial part of the Quality Assurance Plan.
The products involved are a combination of brand-new digital electronics, high voltage electronics (AC or DC, up to ~50kV), underwater corrosion monitoring equipment, low voltage electronics, and the servicing of older analogue electronics.
Fault-finding, Diagnosis and Repair Fault-finding of electronic and electromechanical assemblies Diagnosis of problems using test equipment including oscilloscope, multi-meters, etc.
Disassembly, repair and reassembly of customer instruments, including testing and quality certification Thorough and methodical approach to work, to ensure quality and functionality of products returned to customers Person Requirements Appropriate education including Maths, English and Science subjects Practical ability including assembly of intricate parts, soldering & workshop skills.
Computer literate, with appropriate capability in MS Office products.
Presentation and Reporting skills, appropriate command of written & spoken English.
Working experience in electronics / mechanical assembly or fault-finding.
