Credit Controller
Your new roleWorking for a government organisation, you will be reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager.
Credit Controller - Interim6 months1 day/ week in the office, 4 days from home37 hours/ weekEast London
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a defined portfolio of debtor/customer accounts within a specific section of the sales ledger.
* Ensure outstanding debts are collected and allocated accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
* Resolve outstanding issues promptly, working collaboratively with other internal teams where required.
* Maintain and manage customer accounts in line with agreed procedures, policies and guidance, under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager.
* Ensure full compliance with Finance policies, standard operating procedures and desktop guidance.
* Act as the main point of contact for queries relating to allocated customer accounts, liaising with relevant teams as necessary.
* Keep all assigned accounts clear, accurate and up to date at all times.
* Ensure finance data is updated promptly across systems that rely on accurate financial information.
* Support miscellaneous invoicing activity where required.
* Consistently meet agreed targets, deadlines and service standards.
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks in support of the wider finance function as required.
What you'll need to succeed
* Have previous experience in a similar role
* Experience working with Oracle fusion or similar accounting system
* Proficient with Excel
* Have previous experience working within the public sector (desirable)
