We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks (Environment) team and support the delivery of various Civil Engineering projects under the Southwest Environment Agency Collaborative Delivery Framework (CDF), where Kier acts as the Principal Contractor.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Sub Agent, you'll work alongside the ESE and Site Team to ensure construction is carried out accurately, maintain quality, keep records, avoid abortive or defective work, and ensure satisfactory progress. This is a site-based role reporting to Exeter.
Your daily tasks will include:
* Contributing to the Early Supplier Engagement (ESE) phase of projects, assisting with construction strategies, kick-off meetings, pre-commencement documentation such as method statements, environmental and quality plans, construction programmes, procurement, and design delivery schedules.
* Liaising with the Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, materials, and temporary works.
* Managing the site engineering team, including overseeing the performance and development of Site and Section Engineers.
* Identifying and resolving technical site issues in collaboration with the Agent.
* Ensuring site teams have the necessary documentation, information, and resources to perform their duties.
What are we looking for?
This role is ideal if you:
* Hold a relevant HNC/degree.
* Have experience and knowledge of practical site engineering activities and supervision skills.
* Possess a CSCS card - Supervisor Gold, experienced Supervisor, or Manager.
