We're looking for Band 3 Clinical Support Workers to join our inpatient unit at Carlton Court Hospital, located in the peaceful surroundings of Carlton Colville, Lowestoft. Our unit provides care for adults with a variety of complex physical and mental health needs.
As a Clinical Support Worker, you'll work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, dignified care. This includes supporting with personal care, promoting comfort and wellbeing, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients and their families. This Band 3 role is ideal for experienced support workers looking to expand their responsibilities. If you're newer to healthcare, you can begin as a Band 2 Healthcare Assistant, with a structured development pathway to help you progress to Band 3 through training and supervised practice.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be part of a team of support workers trained in a range of skills, delivering care and clinical interventions to respond to the patient's needs supporting rehabilitation and end-of-life care. Clinical skills will include but are not limited to:
* Pressure ulcer prevention and management
* Wound care
* Catheter care
* Bladder scan
* Venepuncture
* Undertaking and recording observations including NEWS2 and blood glucose testing
* Delivering physiotherapy support within competencies
* Delivering occupational therapy support within competencies
Carlton Court Hospital is located in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft, Suffolk (NR33 8AG). The wards provide a range of services, including rehabilitation and support for individuals with complex health needs.
