About Our Nursery
Busy Bees Thurstaston is an Ofsted-rated “Good” nursery with a capacity of 86 children. This purpose-built nursery features multiple rooms for toddlers and preschoolers, offering bright and airy spaces for play and learning. There is a fantastic outdoor area and an off-site Forest School for outdoor learning experiences. Located in the heart of the village on Thurstaston Road, the nursery is a short walk from local landmarks. Free staff parking is available.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in planning and delivering educational activities that promote children's development.
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
* Take on the role of Key Person, fostering partnerships with children and their families.
* Track and report on children's progress through observations and assessments.
What We’re Looking For
* Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare.
* Experience working with children under 5.
* Empathy and understanding – each child is unique.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
You may have previous experience working with children, ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
