Project Manager - Process Engineering
12 Month Contract Position in Tipperary, Ireland
We are seeking a talented Project Manager with a focus on Process Engineering for a critical role within the Medical Devices sector. This position is based in Tipperary, Ireland and offers the chance to lead pioneering projects in metal powder recycling processes essential to medical device manufacturing on a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project management efforts in process engineering workstreams.
Coordinate team efforts to meet project milestones and deliverables.
Review and implement ASTM standards crucial for process quality and compliance.
Develop and modify plans for qualifying recycled metal powders used in medical devices.
Serve as a mentor and coordinator, fostering knowledge-sharing across different teams.
Required Skills:
Project Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects efficiently and effectively.
Process Development Experience: Has well-rounded skills relating to developing manufacturing processes for NPI's.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate diverse teams towards achieving project goals.
Coordination Skills: Excellent organisational abilities to align multiple workstreams and ensure cohesive progress.
Essential:
8+ years' experience working in process-related roles.
Minimum 3 years in Project Management/Leadership roles.
Experience in the Medical Devices Industry.
An understanding of 3D Printing and Metal Additives.
The start date is ASAP. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with options to extend after. The role is based in Tipperary and will require a minimum of 4 days onsite per week, with occasional remote working where the project allows. The rate is €65-75 per hour, depending on experience.
