Speech and Language Therapist (Hayes) – London
Location: Baston House School, Kent, BR2 7AB
Salary: £35,000 – £53,200 FTE (DOE) + £5,000 Welcome Bonus (split into two payments) and £3,000 Relocation package* (T&C apply)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon – Fri 08:30 – 16:30). Part‑time hours may be considered.
Essential criteria
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Recognised Speech & Language Therapy degree.
* Current HCPC registration.
* Registered member of RCSLT.
* Minimum 3 years practice experience with similar client group.
* High specialist knowledge of SALT practice.
* Experience in multi‑disciplinary teamwork and service performance.
* Strong communication and training skills.
* Experience in supervision, research and audits.
Desirable criteria
* Exceptional relationship building and analytical skills.
* Advanced knowledge of neurodivergence, cognition/differences and trauma‑informed practice.
* Clear understanding of RCSLT Communication Standards.
Responsibilities
* Embed Speech and Language therapy approaches throughout the school via assessment, observation, consultation, training and joint interventions.
* Work with pupils who have developmental trauma, neuro‑divergence or SEMH needs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams and lead staff training.
* Maintain high safeguarding standards and a student‑centred approach.
* Coordinate clinical supervision and lead performance reviews.
* Support the OFG Speech and Language Therapy Ways of Working and quality standards.

Patient Care Coordinator – ER (Overseas)
Role: Full‑time day shifts (07 AM – 07 PM). Coordinate patient care, oversee nursing activities and ensure quality ER service.
Responsibilities
* Make rounds to ensure care delivery.
* Orchestrate patient flow and bed assignments.

Deliver commercial strategy for Near Patient Care products and digital solutions in Northern England.
Responsibilities
* Lead strategy for patient access, NHS and social care integration.

Provide assessment, therapy, and training in a multidisciplinary education setting.
Responsibilities
* Assess pupils’ speech, language and social communication skills.
* Write clear progress reports and EHCP documentation.
* Design, implement and review individual communication programmes.
* Deliver 1:1 and small‑group interventions.
* Lead social communication groups across the school.
* Create visual supports (Social Stories, timetables).
* Embed communication targets into curriculum.
* Provide training and coaching to staff, parents and carers.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
Qualifications
* HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist, RCSLT member.
* Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
* Experience with children/young people with learning disabilities and autism.
* Knowledge of behaviour support, trauma impact, EHCP processes.
* Post‑graduate paediatric experience (NQP competencies).
Experience with SEMH, PMLD or complex needs.
* Familiarity with Makaton/Signalling or other AAC.
* Ability to deliver staff training on communication.
