Overview
CUPRA Stockport is recruiting for a Service Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and completing any additional repairs. You will report to the service manager, receive ongoing support, and have access to career progression and training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to accelerate your career.
We are looking for a qualified Vehicle Technician or an experienced Mechanic who can deliver first-class customer service and work to high standards. Applicants from dealer groups or independent garages are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
* Carrying out vehicle services in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
* Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
* Warranty repairs performed per the manufacturers guidelines and relevant write up completed
* Taking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure faults are rectified
* Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
* Experience in a workshop environment
* MOT licence would be a bonus
* Brand experience is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided
