We're a busy 4-star hotel in the heart of Manchester, just minutes from Piccadilly Station, and we're looking for a Night Manager to oversee all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly while delivering outstanding guest service.
What You'll Do
Night Leadership & Guest Experience
* Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift
* Lead, support, and guide the night reception team
* Ensure all guests receive a warm, professional, and efficient service
* Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and escalations in a calm and effective manner
Operations & Safety
* Take full responsibility for hotel safety, security, and compliance overnight
* Monitor the building and ensure all areas remain secure
* Respond to incidents and emergencies, following correct procedures
* Liaise with security, maintenance, and external services when required
Night Audit & Reporting
* Complete and review night audit procedures accurately
* Check financial reports, room charges, and system updates
* Ensure all systems and records are fully updated for the day team handover
Handover & Communication
* Provide clear, detailed handovers to the Front Office and Management teams
* Highlight any issues, incidents, or VIP requirements
* Ensure continuity of service between night and day operations
What You Bring
* Previous experience in a hotel front office or night management role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a small team
* Excellent communication and decision-making abilities
* High attention to detail, especially with finance and reporting
* A calm, professional approach under pressure and during incidents
