About The Role
Based at our Preston Head Office, this role is central to the smooth operation of our Accounts Payable function. You'll be responsible for managing and processing a high volume of transactions with accuracy and timeliness. As part of a supportive and collaborative finance team, you'll ensure payments are compliant, reconciliations are completed, and reporting is delivered efficiently-all while maintaining strong internal controls.
Role Responsibilities
* Process a high volume of accounts payable transactions
* Ensure payments are aligned with trading terms and properly authorised
* Reconcile supplier statements and generate monthly reports
* Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies
About You
* Minimum 3 years' experience as an Accounts Payable Officer
* Proficient in Accounting Software Packages
* Strong skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* High attention to detail and results-driven mindset
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Self-motivated with a collaborative team spirit
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
