About the role of Account Manager:
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, you will play a key role in growing sales of our generic pharmaceutical portfolio. This role involves travelling to our customers across England, with regular travel to our office in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
Responsibilities
* Develop & foster relationships with business partners established & new to ensure long-term success.
* Drive new distribution through sales and profit within OTC sectors.
* Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity and profitability.
* Conduct regular business review meetings with the customers
* Co-ordinate and manage customer service projects and initiatives
* Identify NPD opportunities and drive effective communication of own label NPI.
* Forecasting & EPOS sales analysis.
* Understanding & implementing MHRA artwork procedures
About you:
We are looking for someone with a background in Account Management, either in B2B sales or procurement within a similar industry.
Ideally, you will also have:
* Commercial understanding of Generic Pharmaceuticals OTC, GSL, P & POM
* An appreciation of working in a highly regulated field
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* A self-starter attitude, and ability to work withing a collaborative team environment.
