Main Objectives:
The testing and investigation of production products utilising automatic test fixtures as part of cell manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Testing of high-voltage power supplies to specification requirements.
2. Provide hands-on support for manufacturing activities as needed, including basic mechanical assembly, component installation, and general production assistance.
3. Completion of test reports and documentation by customer requirements and in accordance with the Quality Management System standards.
4. Upgrading and modification of assemblies and finished products.
5. Interpretation and implementation of changes to assemblies and finished products through documentation.
6. Identifying product quality and performance issues and raising appropriate non-conformances.•
7. Liaising with Design Engineering, Test Equipment Design and Sales in support of meeting customer requirements and finished product quality and performance.
8. Keep informed and support the Company's ISO14001 Environmental Management System and ISO9001 Quality Management System and improvement team activities, including seeking new ‘green’ opportunities and suggestions on how the business can improve.
9. Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s ISO 9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environmental and Health and Safety management systems.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
10. Ability to test the product by following test procedures accurately and meeting standard times.
11. Ability to use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, digital power supplies and multimeters.
12. Experience in high-voltage test methods. Experience in soldering and rework methods to IPC standards.
13. Experience working in a lean manufacturing facility.
14. Competent in MS Office.
15. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
