Due to continued growth, theyre now seeking a skilled and motivated Mobile Forklift Engineer to join the team in the North including Manchester, Hull, Doncaster and Leeds. The Role: As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, youll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites across Manchester and surrounding regions. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, repair, and service diesel, electric, and LPG forklifts and warehouse equipment. Conduct planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Provide excellent on-site customer service, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Maintain accurate service records using digital reporting tools. Liaise with the service support team for parts and job scheduling. Work independently and manage your own workload efficiently. About You: Proven experience as a field-based or workshop engineer within the material handling, agricultural, plant, automotive or HGV sectors. Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills. Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant, Vehicle Maintenance, or similar). Excellent customer service and communication skills. Full UK driving licence (essential). Forklift industry experience is essential Additional training will be provided.
