We have a vacancy for an experienced Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a) passionate about working with children, young people and families. The position is part of the CAIST (Crisis, Assessment & Intensive Support Team) service, a vibrant and dynamic service that operates 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:00. The team consists of three groups based across Norfolk & Waveney, and the role is peripatetic – you will travel to different sites and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
* Provide direct clinical work – crisis assessment, formulation and individual interventions for children under 18, including working with families and carers where appropriate.
* Supervise Assistant Psychologists and Trainee Clinical Psychologists, applying psychological models and formulation to meet the needs of the young people accessing the service.
* Consult and formulate with other relevant services, deliver training to the team and contribute to relevant research projects.
* Lead ongoing service development and quality improvement, with a focus on clinical data and performance.
* Travel independently to various sites as required.
