Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team in Slough, Berkshire.
As a Pest Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of the company's clients by effectively managing and controlling pests in Slough and in the surrounding areas.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £27,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the competitive salary, they offer a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Duties
* Conduct thorough inspections of client premises to identify pest infestations and determine the extent of the problem.
* Develop and implement effective pest control plans, including the selection and application of appropriate pesticides and trapping methods.
* Perform pest extermination activities using safe and approved techniques to eliminate pests and prevent further infestations.
* Advise clients on pest prevention measures and provide recommendations to maintain a pest-free environment.
* Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, including inspection findings, treatment plans, and client communication.
* Regularly monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pest control measures, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal results.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, best practises, and regulatory requirements related to pest control.
* Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
* BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management
* Knowledge of pest identification, behaviour, and specific treatment methods.
* Ability to handle and apply pesticides safely and responsibly.
* Familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards.
* Experience working with commercial clients in various industries.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments.
* Valid driving licence.
* No allergies to bees/ wasps or other insects
