We are currently recruiting for a number of Hospitality Assistants for Castlewood care Home, which is a brand new, state-of-the-art care home in Clitheroe.

As a Hospitality Assistant you’ll do more than serve meals— you’ll help create experiences, provide independence, and maintain a safe, welcoming dining environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve meals, snacks and beverages to residents in a timely and professional manner.
• Support residents during mealtimes, encouraging independence while providing assistance where appropriate.
• Ensure residents are offered regular refreshments throughout the day.
• Set up and clear dining areas before and after meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining rooms, kitchenettes and food service areas.
• Monitor and report concerns regarding residents’ dietary intake, hydration, appetite or wellbeing.
• Follow food hygiene, infection prevention and health and safety procedures at all times.
• Ensure residents’ dietary requirements, allergies, cultural preferences and nutritional needs are respected.
• Promote a positive dining experience that enhances residents’ wellbeing and quality of life.
• Assist with special occasions, celebrations and hospitality events within the home.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels of beverages, snacks and hospitality suppliers.
• Be responsible for promoting and protecting the welfare of individuals supported by the service.
