Job Overview
This is an opportunity to lead global Security Operations focused on safeguarding Arm’s digital environment through exemplary threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management capabilities.
About the Role
This senior role, reporting directly to the CISO, is responsible for setting the strategic direction of Arm’s Detect & Response function, ensuring high performance and resilience against evolving threats. You will lead cyber crisis management, C-Suite stress testing, team development, and cybersecurity thought leadership.
Responsibilities
* Own and execute the strategic roadmap for cyber incident and vulnerability detection & response, aligned with Arm’s threat profile and business goals. Lead and develop a high-performing team, considering emerging threats and strategic priorities.
* Develop Threat Intelligence, Proactive Security Testing, and Security Analytics functions to provide operational insights, real-time risk validation, and actionable security intelligence.
* Advance automation and detection-as-code initiatives to enhance scalability and efficiency, leveraging data insights for strategic decision-making.
* Foster collaboration across Arm and with external vendors to align cyber strategies. Work with IT, Enterprise Security, and leadership to shape security roadmaps, governance, and operational models.
* Establish comprehensive processes, governance, and performance metrics (e.g., SLAs). Oversee security testing, audits, governance, and reporting.
* Promote a culture of continuous learning, training, and professional growth, supporting team wellbeing and performance in a dynamic environment.
* Stay informed on technological developments, especially in AI, to drive ongoing improvement and innovation.
Required Skills and Experience
* 10+ years in security roles covering the entire threat lifecycle, with proven experience in designing and implementing Security Operations strategies in complex enterprise environments. Leadership in high-pressure settings.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues to senior leadership, including the executive team. Deep knowledge of enterprise security domains and influence at all levels.
* Extensive management experience, fostering a culture of mentorship, wellbeing, and trust.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* BSc or higher in a relevant security-related field.
* Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GIAC, GCFE, GREM, or SANS certifications.
* Knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies.
* Experience leading security transformation projects and managing third-party vendors in large, global organizations.
