The Regional Adoption Agency works in partnership with Lancashire County Council, Blackpool Council, and Blackburn with Darwen Council. Together, we deliver a wide range of adoption services, including recruitment and assessment of prospective adopters, adoption support, and family finding.
About The Role
As a Recruitment & Assessment Social Worker, you will recruit and assess prospective adopters, deliver preparation and training (pre- and post-approval), support families through the matching process, and provide ongoing support once children are placed, up to the adoption order. You will build meaningful relationships with families and work closely with partner agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.

Qualifications and Requirements
Must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) or have applied for registration. Must have access to a car for work purposes and ensure it’s insured for business use. If driving is not possible due to a disability, the applicant may still be considered.
